3 Degrees, The Drifters, The 4 Tops and the Temptations MEN Arena

Went to the MEN Arena to watch the 3 Degrees, The Drifters, The 4 Tops and the Temptations, these were the groups I grew up with, interested in listening to Motown, Soul and Northern Soul music to name just a few. I was looking forward to a great night out. However, it was a very disappointing night in all (see review on MEN Arena). The 3 degrees were on first, it was a somewhat lack lustre performance, croaky voices. They were then followed by the Drifters and again very disappointing unmoving performance. Then the 4 Tops followed, and to be honest they saved the night, there performance was up beat and quiet superb, it had me bopping in my seat. The Temptations were the final act and although there were a few oldies sung, it was nothing particularly outstanding. Each act did approx 30mins, it would have been better night out if was a night of the 4 Tops and Temptations,in the end we left early. Sadly nothing can replace the original groups from years gone by and I was probably hoping or wishing for more from the night, which did not transpire.
