We recently went to have our first snowboarding lesson. Although the queue was long, we did get served relatively quickly. With the lesson, you get to hire the helmets, snow boots and boards for free, as it's all paid for within the lesson. After getting kitted out, we made our way to the snow slopes. We were taught how to attach our boots to the snowboards, and how to get up once they were on. They taught us at a speed at which we all understood (group of 8). They then let us loose onto the slopes, backwards. It was incredibly fun, although if they could see you struggling, they did come over and help you.

I would recommend this to anyone. Time for me to go on a proper snowboarding holiday. :)
