Land Rover Experience Rockingham Castle

Myself and two friends spent yesterday at Land Rover Experience Rockingham Castle, and had the best time. From start to finish everything was welcoming, professional, top quality and enjoyable. Starting with coffee and a briefing, we then moved onto a morning learning 4x4 techniques in a 60-plate Defender 110, under the very expert eye of Ed Cobley, a leading off-road and stunt driver. We soon developed enough confidence to tackle steep ascents and descents, deep water, boulders, you name it, we drove over or through it! Ed's considerable experience coaxed even the most cautious driver (me!) over the edge in safe, controlled style. Lunch was taken in a lovely country inn, watching red kites circling over the valley. In the afternoon, we moved into a Discovery 4 and soon got to grips with that vehicle's amazing capabilities. Ed considered that we had made enough progress to try some Level 2 obstacles, which were all amazing yet manageable, thanks in no small part to the incredible D4. The end of the day had to come, but we all went away more than satisfied with the experience, and wishing we could go right back again the next day.
