I Thought This Show At Live At The Chapel Was Abso
I thought this show at Live At The Chapel was absolutely fantastic! I have been in love with Simon Amstell for a long time after seeing him on Never Mind The Buzzcocks. I hadn't seen him live before however had heard from a friends that his stand up was good. I bought a ticket for my friend and went with some family and another friend. We managed to nab seats right at the front, as it was a warm up gig Simon was trying out new material and there were no seat numbers. The first half of the show was about 50 mins and the second half about 40 mins. It was a really good length (although i could have listened to him for days!) and the quality for money was great. Only cost £12. The theatre was quite small which was great as the whole thing felt quite personal and relaxed. His show was fantastic and the material was brilliant. The material wasnt crude. The show was mostly stories about things that had happened to Simon and also things really just about life as a whole and phylosophy. It was fantastic and i have been raving about it since! i was so impressed and managed to meet him after which was a dream come true. Simon seems like such a nice guy and is really charming. I would definately recomed his show to any one. Its brilliant! *****
