There's Tonnes Of Nam Movies, Most Of Them Pants.
There's tonnes of Nam movies, most of them pants. The outstanding ones... Platoon, Apocalypse Now, Hamburger Hill... I'd not put Rescue Dawn up there with these greats. But.... it's a lot better than other we're prisoners and need to escape. Let's call in Chuck Norris or Segal the chef that can chop necks as quick as he can prepare Chop Suey. Where this film wins is that it's not about the action - it's about human interaction. Christian Bale's quirky POW reformation is worth the watch alone.
