I Watched X-men Origins: Wolverine The Other Night

I watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine the other night. I thought it was absolutely brilliant. I wouldn't say I'm a huge super hero movie fan, nor would I say I go out of my way to watch these types of movies, but that said, we sat down to watch Wolverine, and I was glued to the screen for the whole duration of the movie.

I've watched the previous X-Men movies, and this proved to be a great prequel. Hugh Jackman plays a great Wolverine, and in this movie you basically get to see how he became "Wolverine".

Fast paced, lots of action, and a good story. You also get to see familiar characters from the other movies showing themselves for the first time.

I'd recommend this movie as a must see.

I Saw X-men Origins Wolverine Last Night, And Enjo

I saw X-men Origins Wolverine last night, and enjoyed it. It's not an "oh wow how brilliant this has changed my life" film, but it's great escapism a nice length, a goodish story - and it helps if you are an X-Men fan and know the rest of the story. None of it is believable but come on, it's X-men. Hugh Jackman reprises his role as the fairly hot but hairy Wolverine and we learn all about how he came to be. Stryker features heavily in the film and we learn a lot about his experiments on mutants - there is a blink and you'll miss it cameo by Patrick Stewart at the end (which one suspects was green-screened in). The special effects are also pretty good. Like i said, not going to change your life, but a fun film to go and see, temporarily suspend reality and get caught up in the X-men Origins.
