A Very Hot Film
Mr Patterson is one hot guy. loved the trilogys.
No Acting Ability Required To Star In These Films
Stephanie Myers is an awful author, and an even worse screen play writer. There was no direction to this film. The actors had no emotion. The only things who ever showed any sort of talent were the extras, and the trees. But of course the trees had talent. The only thing they are supposed to do are to be trees, job well done Trees! The extras in some points outshone the stars of the film, so in that regard they didn't do their job. But you can't blame them since they didn't have to work too hard to outshine the actors. Bad story, bad acting, bad direction, bad hype, and the only reason these movies exists is to take money from teenage girls and sad pathetic soccer moms. <- No offense to soccer moms who don't like these movies, you have good taste. Yes offense to those who do. Seriously! I wish I had known how bad it was going to be before i picked it up. I lost 2 and a half hours of my life!
Fantastic
The best movie ever..I have read the whole series and dying to watch the latest movie release.. What a romantic story..The books are way better, if you love this movie you have to read the books...Wow...I will never get fed up even though i have watched more than 7 times.. :)
What lbieratnig knowledge. Give me liberty or give me death.
Awful Actors! Kristen's Facial Expressions Ruined It All!!!!
Read the book and thought it was absolutey brillant and never read anything like it, seen the movie and it was a total let down. Left all the best parts (in my opinion) out, and added trash. Crappy actors. Main actors cannot act. Jacob wasn't even taller than Edward at all and most lines sounds cheesy. Wouldn't watch it again, ever.
This Film Is Absolutely Fantastic, The Storyline I
This film is absolutely fantastic, the storyline is great but not scarry. The soundtrack is fab, this is really a film not to be missed.
I Watched This Film On Dvd Without Knowing Huge Am
I watched this film on DVD without knowing huge amounts about it.
I quite like sci-fi so thought it was worth a go.
Overall it was watchable but not very interesting, challenging or engaging.
The sort of thing you put on if nothing else is on and you dont feel entirely cheated out of 90 minutes of your life, but you have a nagging feeling that you could have done something better with that time....
It was more like a TV movie than a 'proper' movie.
Really Nice Movie
really nice movie
How so? Sell me this movie.

I found this review not helpful because... it give no reason to see the movie, just that based on the response to a scene give us the impression of an unhealthy obsession. Live in real life and leave the idealistic fantasy world of twilight behind.
I Gave Twilight The Benefit Of The Doubt The First
I gave Twilight the benefit of the doubt the first time I watched it. If I was a 13 year old then I would probably love this film but to be honest I felt that the overacting was taken straight from a Jane Austen novel, all heaving chests and pouty lips. I watched it a second time with my boyfriend last night and he ended up fast forwarding through huge chunks of the film (the leaping through the trees, the dull build up to the fight between Edward and James amongst others). I have not read the book (my friend says she enjoyed it) so have no idea how close the film adapation is. I ended up spending most of the film wondering how a small town in America manages to have such a diverse and multicultural society that accepts pretty much everyone straight away...and why the make-up department couldn't afford to white up the boys necks.
I found this review helpful because... it gives a solid opinion about the movie, unlike every other review i have seen on this film.
After Reading All Four Of The Twilight Saga Books,
After reading all four of the Twilight Saga Books, which includes; New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, I was very excited to experience the first film of the four. I first heard all the news of a film coming out from friends and on YouTube watched the very first trailer. Anxious to see, I waited until the December and saw on the first day shown in cinemas.
Twilight started off very slow and stuck to book very well. I enjoyed watching the chemistry between leading actor Robert Pattinson and actress Kristen Stewart especially during their first kiss. Although the moments of pure silence and awkwardness got in the way tension and excitement started to bulid when more exciting scenes were introduced.
The Cinema was packed and that gave a great atmosphere to when Robert Pattinson playing Edward Cullen made his first entrance, as all the young girls screamed. Catherine Harwick (director) made a very anticipiating choice picking Pattinson to play the out-of-this-world, drop-dead-gorgeous, unhuman vampire figure. There was much discussion, about how he would play this part and yet by the end of the film, i suspect every girl is in love with him.
My favourite scene, the basketball match between the Cullens is when the special effects play a massive part. With Muse playing in the background, everyone is focused on what will happen next? When the rival vampires arrive, the Cullens try to do everything to save Bella from death. In one of the last scenes, Kristen Stewart cannot stop blinking and this is almost annoying for the audience to watch.
Without its flaws, Twilight is a well collected film, which sticks to the book well and has a range of great performamces from the actors all round.
I found this review somewhat helpful because... it gave reasons to see the movie, but has a few errors.
Thank you for your comment and i have realised you are right... i didnt comment on the music. I also think the music is great and especially in this film it really sets with the mood. Robert Pattinson's Never Think and Let Me Sign are great for this movie and Carter Burwell's Bella's Lullaby which Robert Pattinson plays sets such a great mood for the film to continue. Thanks.
I share the same view. one thing that has not being talked about is the music. The opening track and the subsequent piano number that Edward plays is awesome. Even the background score when the venom spreads through Bella's body intensifies the situation and is a delight to watch. Rest Edward's eyes and Bella's simplicity can knock down the audiance at one go.
