Tron Legacy

Didn't love it. It does look pretty cool - i would imagine it looks great on the big screen. Plot wise however i found the plot to be a little dry. I haven't seen the original so i can't compare but Tron legacy has cheesiness in blockbuster proportions. It was ok, but fairly predictable and didn't really hold my attention - at 2 hours i found it too long but i can see why some people (and kids) would like it.

Now before you think this film is a reboot/ remake of the original classic, then im affraid your wrong.

The story takes off from an the lives of those involved from the first story line of tron.

After Flynn (Bridges) is pulled into the digital realm he leaves behind his whole life, including that of his son, who takes up the raines for this second film, finding the secret to enter the digital world he enbark's on a mission to find his father, fight for whats right and wrong, and free himself and his father.

the run down on this film is very simple, good verus evil, loads of cgi, and good old fashioned plot line.

the directors have gone back to the original and kept a lot of things in, just upgraded them.

kids will love this film for all the cool stuff, and adults will also love it for its cool stuff, but also a chance to relive the past.
