They Dont Make 'em Like They Used To! W

They dont make 'em like they used to!

What a film.

I'm into the sci-fi genre admittedly, but Id say anyone should see this film as its a classic of all time.

It's not the most amazing in terms of acting and the special effects by todays standards are amateur, but it just all hangs together brilliantly as a very easy to watch, entertaining and enjoyable film

Everyone must watch all the star wars films or they've missed out!!

Man Oh Man, What A Sequeal. The Beginning Scenes O

Man oh man, what a sequeal. The beginning scenes on Hoth when Luke was captured by the Wampa Ice creature was cool, pardon the reference to the polar conditions. The attack of the base was ecceptional. Loved the AT-ATs. Loved it when Lando was cohersed into helping Vader capture Han and Leia. Cracked up when Chewie strapped the pieces of C3PO to his back. Loved it when Vader wouldn't let Bobba Fett shoot him. Loved Han telling Leia that he knew she loved him. (Harrison's idea, by the way) Felt sad when he was frozen in the carbinite. Loved the fight scene between Luke and Vader. Absolutely went nuts when he revealed that he was Luke's father. Everyone was completely stunned, including me. No one believed it. Everyone said Vader had to be lying. Thanks again Mr. Lucas. You outdid yourself.

Star Wars Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back - Th

Star Wars Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back - The best star wars film, just beating a New Hope. Puts the prequels to shame despite being more than twenty years old. Also has the most quotable lines. "No, I am your father."

The Second Star Wars Film Ever Made Is The Fifth E

The second Star Wars film ever made is the fifth episode of six following on directly from the original Star Wars offering from the eminent George Lucas. After the destruction of the Death Star, the Rebel forces flee to a secret location, regrouping on a nearby frozen planet. Eventually discovered by the Empire, a spectacular wintery battle commences, following Luke Skywalker and Han Solo as they fight and flee (again) the planet they are relentlessly pursued by Darth Vader. They split up and Luke travels to a swamp planet where he trains as a Jedi Knight to develop special super-natural powers at the hands of Yoda, a two foot green Master in Jedi arts. Meanwhile, Solo is captured by Vader, tortured and frozen in Carbonite (suspended animation) and Luke is lured in to try to rescue him. Skywalker eventually faces Vader for the first time and a fantastic light-saber (sword) battle commences where Darth Vader confronts Luke with the truth that he is actually his father. A battered Luke manages to escape and go on the run yet again. Han is sold on to a notorious gangland warlord. The open ending of this film and the darker nature means that in and of itself this film can disappoint because out of context from the trilogy makes it seem as if there are lots of loose ends. However within the context of the other films it is arguably the best of the bunch and is definitely a classic sci-fi film that is not to be missed. My experience from living and breathing Star Wars for pretty much all my life, is that most true fans agree that the somewhat darker The Empire Strikes Back episode is the best.
