The Film Makes The Point: Had Jane Austen Been Suc
The film makes the point: had Jane Austen been successful in love and had "a baby a year" from the man who obviously adored her as she adored him, we would never have been blessed with Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, etc. Austen died early. Imagine that, had she borne several children, she definitely would not even have had the chance to write those gems in her old age.M
