Elvis -- That's The Way It Is

If you only buy one Elvis DVD from the 1970's make sure this is it. This is Elvis on top form.

It follows Elvis and his band from rehearsing LA to opening night in Vegas. Apart from Elvis there are top class musicians backing him. Brilliant music and he's a very funny man.

My only gripe with this recut version is that they left out 'I Just Can't Help Believing'.

It's brilliant. Buy it. If you're not an Elvis fan you will be after watching this film.

I love Elvis Presley, he is the best and the film wonderfully captures the life of the king on and off stage and what it was really like. This is great movie, overall outstanding!!

Throughout the latter parts of the 20th century, non-Elvis fans have been searching for the answers as to why us Elvis fans adore/d him. This film shows in no small part why that is so.

The charisma, talent, presence and humour of the man, are all there in truck-loads. The film ( a fine re-working of the original), gives an in-depth look at Elvis' 3rd Vegas season and although some songs were left out (for whatever reasons), there is no doubting what an immense personality he was. If you never see another Elvis picture, see this, you'll love it.
