The Strangers Sets Up The Premise That The Story I

The Strangers sets up the premise that the story is based on true life events of a couple returning to a family holiday home after a wedding. Things don't seem quite right between Liv Tyler's Kirsten and Scott Speedman's James. There are hints of a marriage proposal that didn't go quite right. The slow build up to the night of terror is great; Kirsten is left alone whilst James goes to get cigarettes. The extremely loud banging on the door plays on everyone's fear of being alone and not knowing what is on the other side. Using masks that are childlike to hide the features of the tormentors is a classic touch that makes them into monsters.

Silent and creepy with plenty of 'oh god look behing you' moments and an atypical Hollywood ending make The Strangers a recomendation for all suspense horror fans.

The Strangers Is A Great Film Although I Will Not

The Strangers is a great film although i will not watch it again becasue it was really scary and i hate people with masks on, some very scary parts a must for people tho live these kind of films, i know it is on dvd and i will not be buying it, okay i know people who dont think it is that scary but i thought it was weird. the actors play a really good part and the storyline is good when u know the true events behind it. The ending is a bit disapointing and i think there will be another one as its a bit of a cliff hanger at the end
