I Loved This Movie So Much When I First Saw It. It
I loved this movie so much when I first saw it. It is one of my most favorite classic horror movies, not to mention that the book was also good. But this may not be one of the movies that you would want to watch in attempts to scare yourself or someone else, it is a classic horror film and like many other things the ideas of what is and isn't scary have changed, so this isn't all too scary but it is indeed a superb classic movie.
The Beginning Really Kicked Off And King Really Go
The beginning really kicked off and King really got that feeling of tension and hunger to know more, that was stirred in its viewers. The pathectic falasy (mood matching the scene) when it started to rain when little Lorri-Ann was murdered sent shivers down my spine.
Mike Hammlin, the libarian and one of the 'lucky seven' kids, interest in the murder (rebuffed by the chief) got me wondering why Mike was interested. Mike's diary entries made me feel close and able to feel the personal urgency of the situation.
What, I and my family who watched 'IT', think that it missed out the point of the story; bascially, Mike made six phone calls, there were flashbacks from 30 years ago to what had happened beforehand, then Stan kills himself because he won't go back. The end. What was the point?
The, few, good moments of the film were shortlived. King started off greatly and got me interested, tensed, suspicious. Then the magic King had created faded, and the ending felt washed-out and used-up.
The beginning was good, the crisis not so clear, the ending boring, dull & really quite bad. The blurb on the back of the disc made me think they'd fight 'IT' again; the events made me think they would fight 'IT' again. But no, it finishes with Stan bumping himself off. Rubbish. There was a point that seemed to be forgotten.
I found this review not helpful because this particular person hasn't watched the entire film, so cannot give a accurat account.
There is a second part of the film, when as adults, they fight IT again and defeat IT. Admittedly when i watched the film for the first time i thoiught it was good, scary and finishing of with Stan kill was a suitable ending, but then again i was 4 at the time and my elder sister proded me awake so she wouldn't have to watch it alone :) The second part mainly includes the newly made 'six' gather and get to know eachother again with a surprising appearence from 'Belch' and a very much elder Henry Bowers and a funny incident with the chinese crackers. IT plagues all of them throughout the rest of the story and finially we can see what IT really is. Some end up in hospital, some end up dead, but the second part is really worth a watch.
One Of The Best Films Of All Time In My Eyes.
One of the best films of all time in my eyes.
The plot is brilliant, The fact the clown is evil just makes it even better for the fact alot of people are scared of clowns.
I dont think i can pick anything bad about Stephen King's It although the shining is better.
I Loved The Movie "it", I Thought It Was Funny At
I loved the movie "It", i thought it was funny at the same time even though the film genre is horror

Stephen King's It Is A Good Creepy Film, Which Is
Stephen King's It is a good creepy film, which is made even scarier if you hates clowns like I do. Pennywise is just so creepy, and spends his time terrorising a group of children in the town of Maine - the setting for all Stephen King's books.
The children manage to defeat Pennywise, and move on and lead slightly strange lives, and then one day they get a phone call to say that Pennywise is back. The story then follows on with the adults trying to defeat Pennywise again.
The ending is really daft and ruins what is essentially a good film. Let's hope the remake makes it a little bit more believable.
Stephen King's It - I Watched The Movie And It Mad
Stephen King's It - I watched the movie and it made me want to read the book which I think is scarier. But anyway, the first part had some really scary parts, probably the scariest was when they faced Pennywise as kids. Part Two was good and all but the end just ruined the movie for me. Since I watched IT when I was eleven, I got used to media and the movie really wasnt that scary, but it probably would have be a huge fright fest back when my parents were young. Besides the bad ending, this film is truly one of the King's true classics.
I Watched Stephen King's It When I Was Young And I
I watched Stephen King's It when I was young and it scared me, but I also loved it. I love it when a horror movie scares me, all horror movies should scare people thats the whole point of it being a horror film. Pennywise the clown terrorizes young children in a city called Maine in New York. Part 1 was so good I had to watch it again and I still watch it from time to time. Part 2 on the other hand wasn't good, there was some scary moments but thats about it, the ending I thought was a bit silly, what was the point in having a spider for the finale? Why not pennywise the clown? In the part 1 finale Pennywise shows himself and the children try to kill him so why in part 2 change it?
Its still a good movie but there are some problems in it that needs to be fixed.
Good job a remake is in the works and coming out soon, I hope they don't screw it up in part 2 and still keep it interesting and have lots of scares.
