Snakes On A Plane

I was dragged to see the movie Snakes on the Plane, as I didn't want to see it. I thought with a title like that, what is the film going to be like? But I was pleasantly surprised. I laughed nearly all the way through it! The acting wasn't great, but it's a relaxing film with loads of laughs!

The movie is called Snakes on a Plane. Really, what more need be said? There's snakes, a plane and Samuel L. Jackson kicking some reptilian backside. This movie is pretty much what you'd hope. It's high on idiotic action and silly circumstance and low on plot. There's an array of ludicrously stereotypical characters from the uptight businesswoman with the chihuahua, the 2 unaccompanied children, the rapper who fears germs and his two video game playing bodyguards and the reason the snakes are on the plane - the surfer who witnessed a mob killing. It's simple, the chief mobster puts a bunch of poisonous snakes on a plane and lets them loose in midair. People die, there's chaos and someone who isn't a pilot has to land the plane. This film is hilarious, but it's not a comedy. It doesn't take itself particularly seriously though so you can sit back, enjoy the stupidity and have a couple of hours of mindless fun.
