Jesse Eisenburg Plays Mark Zuckerburg The Creator
Jesse Eisenburg plays Mark Zuckerburg The creator and brains behind Facebook.
Directed by David Fincher who brought us Fight Club and seven we are told the story of how Mark started the idea of facebook.
very well written and directed this film bring a mix of clever laughs, saddness and spirit that Mark zuckerburg went through in his early years to bring us the global network that is Facebook.
Its a good film all round, not to long, keeps you wanting more, and defenetly a good film to watch.
On Paper This Film Sounds Dull And Boring - I Mean
On paper this film sounds dull and boring - I mean, how could anyone make a film about a social network and make it fun, engaging and exciting? That's what makes this film so good - it actually is all of these and more - it's a thoroughly enjoyable film, and one that I'm sure will go on to pick up lots of awards. The film is the story of Mark Zuckerberg, and the creation of Facebook. Zuckerberg is played by Jesse Eisenberg, and he plays the geeky student role perfectly. I wasn't entirely sure how the film would pan out, but it's kind of in the vein of a courtroom thriller, with Zuckerberg being accused of stealing other peoples ideas, and generally screwing other people over. Justin Timberlake is one of the biggest surprises of the film - he's excellent as Napster founder Sean Parker
There's been lots said in the media about the truth behind the story - if it's true, then Zuckerberg really is a nasty piece of work, but to be fair, you probably need to trample on a few people get to the point where you're worth $50bn. I'm not going to comment on the truth of it - at the end of the day, anything produced by Hollywood has to be taken with a pinch of salt.
All I know is that it's an excellent film, and with so many people now using Facebook, one that's relevant to an awful lot of people.
I broadly agree. Fincher totally met my expectations in using his great talent to bring the simple plot to life. Without any noisy action scenes, the film is capturing until the end.
Eisenberg, indeed is a great actor, but he still is way to pleasant to represent obnoxious Zuckerberg in a sufficient way.
And why wondering about Timberlake's convincing performance? He already proved his talent in 'Alpha Dog', didn't he?
