Good, But Not Amazing

Not entirely sure what I was expecting from this film, but I just felt it was slightly lacking in something.

The story starts with Margaret Thatcher an old lady, suffer from alzheimers.

It then has flashbacks to her past, which builds a story of her rise and fall.

It was pretty interesting, in a sort of documentary way, but I wonder how much of it was true and how much was guess work by the film makers. I'd like to think that they researched it well (lets face it, nearly everyone in the film is still alive, so they could have done) in which case it was a good history lesson for us all. But it did feel somehow that they were bending it a bit to match their goals in making the film.

I think i'd have preferred to have seen more of Thatcher in her younger years and less as the old, frail lady - but overall it was a good enough film that's worth a watch.

If you lived through the late 70's and 80's under Thatchers government it will bring back some memories.
