Tamara Drew

Aterton plays Tamara Drewe, a newspaper writer who returns to her home village to prep her dead mothers house for resale. having left many years before as an ugly duckling, she returns with a new life and a new nose.

being a hottie now she attracts the attention of most of the local men, and a few visitors.

I was surprised by this film but in a good way, the script was good, the humour worked well for all characters involved, and plot was steady and an enjoyable to follow.

bad point.... wish all film makers would stop making out that all us brits either live in penthouse suites, or live in tiny little villages where we all know a vicar.
