Wedding Crashers Is A Very Good Film With Some Hil

Wedding crashers is a very good film with some hilarious scenes and with the sparkling partenership between Owen wilson and vince vaughan the film seems set up for the perfect comedy but as the film goes on it becomes a little boring and I think for the main reason that the film is to long it goes on for 2 hours and 15 minutes and is'nt family friendly at all so I would'nt recommend watching it with anyone under 14 or 15. so yeah overall a very good comedy and worth watching but you have to be prepaired to sit down and watch it and really concentrate on it.

The Wedding Crashers Is Juvenile Humour At Its Bes

The Wedding Crashers is juvenile humour at its best. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are two best friends who get off on turning up at weddings unannounced and integrating themselves with the proceedings, with the end result being to net a couple of bridesmaids for their troubles.

After the 'wedding season' has come to a close, the two womanisers go back to their day jobs. However, when the prospect of an A-List wedding comes into play, they just can't resist one last con. Christopher Walken is a high ranking government official whose daughter is getting wed and the boys are determined to crash the party.

They pull this off successfully, however Wilson breaks the Crashers Code Of Conduct by falling in love with the girl he tries to seduce - Vaughn on the other hand can't get away from his clingy target quick enough.

Cue plenty of crude humour and you've got yourself a very funny movie. The funniest moments definitely belong to Vaughn and the predicaments he reluctantly finds himself in but both of the stars pull off the 'loveable rogue' ruse with ease.

Watch out for a twisted cameo from Will Ferrell as a veteran Wedding Crasher turned Funeral Crasher as well!

Thoroughly recommended but maybe a touch too long and lacking in a 'grand finale' type moment too.

The Title Of This Movie Pretty Much Tells You Ever

The title of this movie pretty much tells you everything you need to know. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughan play divorce mediators who plan their schedules around weddings and the plethora of available single women to be found at these events. Not surprisingly given their day jobs, these guys are not looking for commitment from these women. Nope, the pursuit of the one-night stand is all that preoccupies them, but they get more than they bargain for when they crash the highbrow nuptials of the daughter of a U.S. Senator (Christopher Walken). Soon, Wilson finds himself afflicted with genuine affection for one of the bridesmaids, and Vaughan reluctantly follows along, with another creepy stalker-type bridesmaid at his side.

The humour is kept at a raucous, raunchy level throughout, which is a refreshing change from most of today's Hollywood comedies. Film studios feel compelled to water down the yucks so as to receive a less restrictive rating from film boards, thereby hoping to get a wider audience; as such, 'R' rated comedies aren't as common as they used to be. Wilson and Vaughan are clearly in their element here and are genuinely funny in WEDDING CRASHERS, even if they can do this stuff in their sleep. In particular, Wilson has a tendency to play the same smarmy, con-artist type in most of the movies he's in, so I'm hoping that once the WEDDING's over, he'll choose to stretch a bit, like in his understated performance in THE LIFE AQUATIC WITH STEVE ZISSOU.

Considering WEDDING's huge box office numbers here in North America, there's clearly a hunger for this type of bawdy farce, but its boffo results mask some of its shortcomings. At two hours, it's the rare film comedy that doesn't lose considerable steam by the time the ending credits begin to roll, and like any drunken uninvited guest at your party, WEDDING CRASHERS outstays its welcome. Plus, Walken, one of Hollywood's most enjoyable onscreen crackpots, is criminally underused here. Where's that great bizarro monologue for which he's famous?!

All the same, there are far worse places to be stuck for two hours (Michael Bay's THE ISLAND comes to mind), so if you're looking for a rowdy, guilt-free night at the cinema, this is one invitation you should consider accepting.

Wedding Crashers Is A Movie About Two Lifelong Fri

Wedding Crashers is a movie about two lifelong friends that have recieved the Wedding Crashing book from Chaz. They spend twelve years crashing weddings. They eat the food, chat with the bride and groom, and sleep with a bridesmaid. Everything went astray when they crashed the "Kentucky Derby" of weddings, the Cleary's. John (Owen) falls in love with Claire, while Jeremy (Vince) gets in trouble with a 'stage five virgin clinger'. After a wacky weekend involving a crazy mom, grandma, and Gloria, the two buddies find themselves packing for home.

There is more but I don't want to ruin anything, but it is a must see movie. I've seen it three times already.
