If You Like Ali G Then You Will Like Borat. Even

If you like Ali G then you will like Borat. Even if you didn't like Ali G you will still like Borat. Ali G gradually became less and less popular and wasn't funny any more. Dont worry, when it comes to Borat this definately will not be a problem. Ali G is now this fantastic new character named Borat who is from Kazakhstan. He is going on travels visiting the US to learn about the culture and give some of his own back and the film follows him around.

The main point of this film is not only to be the best new comedy now around but also is to show people the ignorance of the richest in the world within the most powerful country in the world. Borat always seems to succeed at this every time he tries.

One of the first things that Borat does is let a chicken escape from his bag on the train. He then goes on to cause a near riot in his purposeful mis-interpretation of the US National anthem. I am sure that you won't meet many people that have the guts to do all of this.

Another side splitting time is at the same rodeo event. This time Borat dares to sing the Kazakh national anthem. This national anthem is Borats made-up shocking lyrics that is sang along to the tune of The Star-Spangled Banner. He first rouses the audience with cries of 'We support your War OF Terror!' This doesn't really impress the crowd. He follows this with more and more of his shocking but funny phrases. After this you can hear the crowd's very disapproval thoughts with them shouting and complaining at him. When Borat finally sings his stupid anthem you will see one of the strongest and most hilarious scenes in the whole of this film. And if that isn't quite good enough for you to finish this amazing scene off everything ends on a perfect, slapstick note that couldn't possibley not have been a scripted incident! After all of this he then had to be escorted out under heavy police escort.

If that isn't quite funny enough for you then my next favourite scene definately will make you laugh. In this scene it shows how it is difficult to translate the humour from one culture to another. This is done by Borat tring to understand the 'Not Joke'. He want to understand exactly what it is that makes Americans . He does this with the help of a humour coach. This has very funny results. In a Virginia suburb, he continually refers to a woman overseeing her yard sale as a gypsy and when he pulls out a Barbie doll from a box, he asks her directly who the woman was who had shrunk so small.

Borat is Jewish and so he has every right to make very funny Jewish jokes and he definately does this with glee. One example of this is when he casually asks a gun store salesman advice on getting the best weapon to shoot a Jew. Without a single little bit of hesitation the salesman offers up a huge, gold-plated pistol. However later he does refuse to sell him the gun. The character of Borat terrified of Jews, and the night scene at the bed-and-breakfast run by a sweet, elderly Jewish couple is another silly and very comic part that left many people laughing for hours.

However, as surprising as it may be there are some tame scenes. Like at a Pentecostal meeting in progress, where Borat gets the religious 'cure' treatment from the crowd. More patently cringe-inducing moments present themselves, examples of these are at the formal dinner party and in the antique store scene. The very friendly and nice bed-and-breakfast couple are unaware of how anti-Jewish Borat is, but Borat's odd behaviour that shows his fear of them will definately make you laugh.

I really admire the take-no-prisoners approach that Borat has when pursuing his comic ends to the extreme. The extended scene of two completely naked men grappling with and chasing each other on the hotel premises definately shows the guts he has. The penultimate scene which involves Pamela Anderson during her autograph-signing session. This is one very funny moment and i am very sure that Borat must have gone home a number of bruises and scratches from this incident. However i am sure he finds it all worth it.

After about a third of the film has gone by you will notice that there is a sub-plot, which runs along nicely in the background of the film right up until the final few scenes. Whilst Borat is sat there flicking through an old Baywatch annual he comes across an image of Pamela Anderson in a red bathing suit and immediatley falls for her. With this on his mind he decides he wants to travel West to California where he can make 'sexy time' with Pamela and force her to marry him. The journey itself and the people he comes across on the way are very amusing, much more so than the eventual outcome.

There are a number of other parts to the film that i have not yet mentioned, but if i was to sit here listing them all then i would be here for years. I am sure that everyone has heard and will know a lot of the jokes involved in this fim and i have picked out my favourites.

i think that it is only fair if you are warned that if you are easily offended and do not like crude jokes then it is not a film for you. The film breaks all taboos from xenophobia, homophobia, anti gypsy and anti Semitism. It is very full of over the top humour.

i think that this is a must see film. The storyline is brilliant and the acting is excellent by Sacha Baron Cohen to bring out the very amusing reactions of people who have no idea that it is all a joke. If you have not yet see this film then you are missing out big time and i really do recommend it to buy. i can assure you that it will be well worth your money. this film definately desevers th 10/10 that i am going to give it. this is one top film! you will never get bored of it and you can watch it over and over again for the rest of your life.

In My Opinion Borat Is Mostly About This Guy Going

In my opinion borat is mostly about this guy going around looking like a stupid eeijit who might make an imature 12 year old boy laugh but if you want to come out of a film feeling really depressed and annoyed this is the film its rubbish.

This Is A Very Funny Movie. I Do Like The Charact

This is a very funny movie. I do like the character Borat and thought that I probably would like the film. I wasn't disappointed as I think I laughed pretty much all the way through.

I do not know how much of the film was planned or how much was done as a documentary ie: the people that Borat is introduced to not knowing that he is really Sacha Baron Cohen and so take him at face value.

If you are not easliy offended I recommend this film, quite gross in places but overall very amusing.

Kazakhstan Tv Personality Borat Is Dispatched To T

Kazakhstan TV personality Borat is dispatched to the United States to report on the greatest country in the world.

With a documentary crew in tow, Borat becomes more interested in locating and marrying Pamela Anderson than on his assignment.

This is a really funny film, shocking nonetheless but packed with some really achingly funny scenes, a really enjoyable film that shouldn't be taken too seriously!
