I Took My Two Boys, Aged 8 And 5, To See This Film
I took my two boys, aged 8 and 5, to see this film. It was much better than I expected as I knew it had not done well in America. The story line is quite good for adults as well as children - it was not boring and not too long. This is the first film my 5 year old has actually sat all the way through! It is a basic trading places story with the spoiled rat being flushed away down into the sewers by an imposter. Of course he meets up with a charming female rat and they have several adventures when she agrees to help him get home.

I Had Flushed Away Pegged As Being Like A Lot Of O
I had Flushed Away pegged as being like a lot of other animated movies that have been brought out recently. However, I was pleasantly suprised.
Flushed Away was a truly enjoyable film, with a lot of laughs along the way!
It's based upon posh rat Roddy. When his family go on holiday he is left on his own; however, when another rat breaks into the house Roddy is flushed away down the toilet! Here he begins his adventures in Rat city and has to get help from another rat to get home!
It's a romp of a film, with a great fresh soundtrack and it's suitable for all the family! Definitely recommened!

I Expected A Lot From This Film, Considering It Wa
I expected a lot from this film, considering it was made by the creators of both Chicken Run and the Wallace & Gromit series. Luckily, I wasn't disappointed. They succeeded in making an excellent, computer-animated comedy. Flushed Away is about a spoiled, uptown rat named Roddy (Hugh Jackman). He is left alone after his family goes on holiday and gets flushed in the toilet. He finds himself in the sewer, in the middle of a poor rat colony. When trying to get back home, he gets help from a girl rat that gets him into more trouble.
The movie starts at a fast pace and never lets go. The movie is packed with a bright script, great voice cast, excellent animation and good, English humor. Most of the visual ideas are absolutely brilliant. Just take a look at rat city, which is made of microwaves, phone boots and washing machines. The story is fresh and funny and leads to a nice finale I won't reveal.
In Flushed Away, Aardman studios has made yet another family classic that will still be as entertaining ten years from now as it is today. The soundtrack is quite entertaining - it's loaded with a lot of pop songs and oldies. Overall this is a great selection to take your family to see, and worth seeing even if you're a grown up too.
