The Scorpion King

This movie is a great spin-off of The Mummies movies, which are great classics (apart from the third movie). It does have certain elements of cliche in it, but that is expected from a movie made more than 10 year ago. I thoroughly enjoyed the world-building, and intriguing storyline - full of twists and turns! I would recommend to watch it as a part of a Mummy's series marathon. It's a great family movie, and my kids loves it!I would highly recommend it if you are a family who loves the supernatural/fantasy genre.

Two words to describe this movie would be mindless action. There's no story or all that jazz and this movie isn't ashamed to get straight to the point - one of the most ridiculous movies I've ever seen and surely the most ridiculous depiction of "Ancient Egypt" ever made.

This movie is nothing more than fight scenes spliced together - I'm assuming that's because The Rock is so bad at acting.
