Cliffhanger

This is a typical Sylvester Stallone movie from his hay days. The movie is filled with action, evil villains,

and is a thriller from the beginning to end. John Lithgow has played the role of the primary villain and has done a

fantastic job. He is usually a comedian and so this role is out of his comfort zone, and he has done an excellent job.

The movie is shot in the Rockies and some of the photography is very well done indeed. The shots of the mountain climbing scenes

are well done. The story line is actually also quite gripping and it keeps the viewer enthralled to the very

end. If you are looking for a good entertainer on a saturday evening, then Cliffhanger would not be a bad bet. One way

in which the movie could have been improved is to perhaps increase the romantic aspect of the film, between Stallone

and his significant other in the movie.But the movie is a good source of entertainment for all.It won't be winning any academey awards,

but John Lithgow's negative role in the movie is probably the highlight. The evil and malice exhibited by his character is worthy of praise.

Cliffhanger is a solid Sly 90's action movie. The setting is pretty original for a movie, the Rockies, and the plot is simple but still strong. Just about non-stop action from beginning to end. Very good special effects and cinematography.

The production looks great and all the technical aspects are well thought out.

Cliffhanger is one of those 90's action flicks which are just so entertaining and overblown. This is one of the better ones with great action & loads of unnecessary violence. One of Stallone's most enjoyable films and a guaranteed action fan favourite.
