Compared To Spiderman-1 This Film Is Dissapointing

Compared to Spiderman-1 this film is dissapointing. Spidey fans will be disappointed by its story, action scenes. *Fight scene between Dr.Octopus and Spiderman is enough rather than watching the whole film.*Kirsten Dungst as Jane is the best fit. *Most of the story and characters are not fit with the comic and animated series of Spiderman.*Prequel of this film is much better than it.

The Spider-man 2 Movie Sucks. I Would Rather Be Ki

The Spider-Man 2 movie sucks. I would rather be kicked in the groin by a horse than watch this film.

Spider-man 2 - Spider-man 1 Was Great. Spider-man

Spider-Man 2 - Spider-Man 1 was great. Spider-Man 2? Even better! Sam Raimi and the cast of brilliant actors have done it again. Spider-Man is here to stay, and proven that it has got what it takes to be a great superhero trilogy. In my opinion, these films will be the best superhero films of all time. I know people may disagree and think Superman is better, but how can wearing pants over your tights be cool??

Anyways back to the film...

This time Peter and his alter ego Spidey have some problems. Peter is low on money, still pining for his longtime love, and friend, Mary Jane, who is now engaged to his boss's son. His friend Harry is bitter towards him, and he is always late for work.

On Spidey's side of life, his powers aren't working as well as they should, and the welcoming of Doc Ock makes things even worse.

Spider-man 2 is very complex, and very clever. The effects are brilliant. The acting is brilliant. The music fits the film perfectly, and I never got bored of it. You can't help liking and hating Doc Ock/Octavius at the same time!

The action is well chorographed, and keeps you on your toes. I recommend seeing this. If you liked the first one, well, this one is ten times better! Plus there is a bit of eye candy in the form of Tobey Maguire for the girls, and Kirsten Dunst for the boys!

A must see film :-).

Spider-man 2 - Spiderman Started Off By Proving It

Spider-Man 2 - Spiderman started off by proving itself as the most entertaining superhero film in a long time and its sequel will only further justify that claim. This isn't some lame attempt to cash in on the first. Back are Sam Raimi and the original cast. Add in a new villain, more drama, and even more spectacular action and you know they've struck gold again.

The premise is simple. Two years have passed since Peter Parker started his career as a crime fighter. Now things are looking bleak, as his crime fighting antics are interfering with his college life, rent and, not to mention, Mary-Jane. To top it all, another villain has emerged. Introducing Doctor Octopus; a brilliant yet persistent scientist, transformed insane and highly dangerous individual with four mechanical arms. Yikes. The crazy Doctor wreacks havoc and it's up to Spidey to stop him. Easy? I think not.

For the first half of the film you see Peter in less than admirable states, from his run-down apartment to his non-existent social life, as Maguire efficiently showed his talents as an actor. The other cast were also pushed to the limit this time, as there are more emotional scenes. Nontheless, they pulled it off perfectly, and, most importantly, believably. Franco reprises his role as vengeful son, and his hate for Spidey causes friction between him and Peter. Kudos to the rest of the cast too, including J. K. Simmons (J.J Jameson).

However, you'll be most impressed by new addition Alfred Molina, aka Doc Octopus's performance. Molina extracted sympathy and respect from viewers though the likable Dr. Otto Octavius, and, within a blink of an eye, made the audience loathe him as the evil Doc Ock. Now there's a good actor ;).

The special effects, which are integral to the film, are something you need to see to believe. Most of it, though rendered in 3D, are so seamlessly and effectively portrayed that my attention was never drawn away from the action. And what action! From a bank to a clock tower to the top of a moving train, each sequence is beautifully choreographed and painfully exciting. With that said, the film is also delicately balanced in terms of drama and action.

Overall, Spider Man 2 is the kind of film that all other superhero films should acknowledge; a great blend of action, drama and great acting. One can only imagine what effect the third and final film would have on us.

Spider-man 2 - There Is A Lot Of Hype That This Mo

Spider-Man 2 - There is a lot of hype that this movie is better than the first Spiderman. That isn't exactly true. There is more action in this film, but the storyline and the acting are not better.

We catch up with Peter Parker as he is struggling to maintain balance in his life. I still think that Tobey Maguire is too short to play Spiderman, but he is the franchise now. Between school, work, and being Spiderman - he is exhausted. He can't do it all. His job, and his college grades are suffering. He is also stressed as he wants to tell Mary Jane his true feelings for her, but he just can't.

All of a sudden, his web shooters aren't working 100%. He goes to the doctor, but he gives him a clean bill of health. The doc tells him it's got to be in his head. It's interesting that all of Peter's issues could also be linked to the problem of erectile dysfunction. Hmm?

My main issue with this film is the treatment of Mary Jane Watson, played by Kirsten Dunst (from the film, Bring it On). In the movie, she is an up and coming actress on Broadway; yet, she wears the ugliest, non-form-fitting dresses throughout the entire story. This girl has sex appeal, use it!!!! They don't even have her hair looking like it's washed for most of the film.

Peter's best friend runs Oscorp, now that his father is dead. He hires a brilliant scientist, Dr. Otto Octavius, to work on an experiment involving fusion. His idea is to create an energy source more powerful than the sun, so that the world won't have any energy worries.

To complete the experiment, the Dr. has invented 4 long, non-magnetic, heat-resistant arms that attach to his body. They have their own artificial intelligence, but can't take over his brain, as he has built-in a neuro chip to prevent that.

Well, his experiment goes very wrong. His neuro chip fries, and the arms take over his brain. Of course, they are EVIL arms...He has now become, Doctor Octopus, per the local paper.

Speaking of the paper, Mr. Jameson is on fire once again. Very funny character. His son is an astronaut who has recently returned from a moon

landing. He gets engaged to Mary Jane Watson, and Peter Parker is not happy about that.

There is a scene where Spiderman and Doc Oc are fighting on, and in, a commuter train. Spidey ends up saving the train from crashing. This scene alone, is worth the price of admission.

The final scene involves Doctor Octopus kidnapping Mary Jane Watson, to get Spiderman's attention. Spiderman meets the Doctor at his secret river hideout. They battle it out, big time. Not as good as the final scene in the first movie, but still good. The end is a very good setup for Spiderman 3. I give this film an 8.5/10.

Spider Man 2 Was A Great Film From Start To Finish

Spider Man 2 was a great film from start to finish, largely thanks to the injection of one-liner funnies dotted along the way. Humor was always well-timed, appropriate and offered light relief from the scorching action scenes. As in the first film, the special effects were astounding and like a lot of others I left the film wanting to swing from building to building myself!

Tobey Maguire was excellent as the troubled hero and you are behind him all the way. The only thing that spoiled the film slightly for me was a bit too much screen time given to the romance aspect of the film, it got a bit slushy at times and this interrupted the film's flow.

A warning to the weepies out there, you may need to grab a tissue at certain points as poor Peter Parker gets a few 'kicks in the teeth' from life, and a then a very moving scene on a train which filled even me (and I can be very cynical) wih a 'warm fuzzy feeling'!

This aside, Spider Man 2 is a great watch for many generations and I'm looking forward to the 3rd now.

Spider-man 2 - Excellent Film, Go And See The Firs

Spider-Man 2 - Excellent film, go and see the first one (Spiderman) before you see this, it will make this one seem better as a lot of the tension between the main characters is really created in the first and carried through to the second.

You will enjoy it better if you do not think critically about films, there are a lot of times especially during scientific experiments scenes where no real logic is applied (watch when metal objects don't fly across the room when its vast metal gurders are pulled apart.) Anyway, don't bother about the trivial things.

In summary, I'd go and watch it, well I already have. Tis a good film, long enough to demolish your popcorn and coke but short enough for you to reach the toilets once it has all been processed.

Spider-man 2 Is An Ok Movie And Worth Watching If

Spider-Man 2 is an ok movie and worth watching if you saw the first one, but I think it was too drawn out, there was not enough action and the ending could have been a bit more dramatic.

Over All, Spider-man 2 Is One Of The Best Movies

Over all, Spider-Man 2 is one of the best movies out there. Filled with suspense, jump scenes, and plenty of action. Once again, an EXCELLENT movie.
