Blues Brothers On Blu-ray
Having previously owned this fantastic movie on 3 other formats, I felt it necessary to post a review regarding the blu-ray copy I received as a christmas gift.
The picture is so sharp and vibrant, and the sound so clean, that it was like seeing it for the first time (probably closer to 15th).
A lot of HD movies aren't worth the extra money, but this improves on greatness.
Added value also as a digital copy is included in the box.

One Of The Greats
Worth watching for the music alone, this has to be one of the top 20 films of all time. Both leads give superb turns as brothers from the wrong side of the tracks who take on a mission from God, to save their old orphanage from closure. Cameo's fom some of the greatest ever musicians/performers, think Ray Charles, James Brown and Aretha Franklin, give the movie real credibility and allow the slapdash humor and ridiculous (yet brilliant) car chase scene to seem completely natural.

My Favourite Film Of All Time!
The Blues Brothers centres around the attempts of jailbird brothers Jake and Elwood Blues to raise enough cash to save the orphanage that they were brought up in. It is a comedy with an all star cast of awesome actors and musicians.
It has loads of musical scenes and appearances from Aretha Franklin, James Brown, John Lee Hooker, Ray Charles and other great blues artists.
It moves seemlessly in and out of these musical bits, has great car chases and is just such a quality movie.
I heartily recommend it to anyone looking to be entertained for 90 mins
