Jacob's Ladder

Jacob's Ladder is a mind twisting psychological horror starring Tim Robbins as a postman who seems to be having flashbacks to Vietnam or does he...I won't give too much away but the direction by Adrian Lyne is great and Robbins' performance shows what a brilliant actor he is. Some of the scenes are disturbing as Robbins' character struggles with reality with psychadelic drug induced trips. There is a twist but it comes naturally and the whole story, although graphic and harrowing, is well worth watching. This film is a hidden gem of the early 90's and you won't ever forget the face staring out from the back of the car...
