Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Arguably the greatest movie ever made. Ferris convinces his best friend Cameron & girlfriend Sloane to join him as he pulls a sickie from school. The following adventures, events & lengths to which Dean Rooney will go to try & catch Ferris out make for an all time classic. With some great quotes & a quality soundtrack this is a real feel good film. 'Life moves pretty fast; if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you're gonna miss it.'

John Hughes' Ferris Bueller's Day Off is one of my all time favourite films and one that I watched with my brother over and over on video.

Ferris, his best friend Cameron and girlfriend Sloane spend an eventful day in Chicago after Ferris persuades Cameron to "borrow" his father's Ferrari. The inventive way Ferris fakes his illness and the ensueing "save Ferris" campaign at his school are brilliant. Dean Rooney and his sister Jeanie are out to prove that Ferris is faking and the lengths Rooney goes to prove it are hilarious.

With gems like Ferris singing Twist n Shout on a float, Cameron killing the car and the great choice of songs this is a great feel good film that makes you wish you could have lived like that.
