The Stone Trough Is More Accurately Nearer To Kirk
The Stone Trough is more accurately nearer to Kirkham, it is at the top of a steep hill above the ruins of Kirkkham Abbey and the river Derwent.
The car park is quite large, but set on quite a slope, and uneven, certainly not ideal for wheelchair users.
It has a pleasant rustic charm that was not overbearing.
The food was good but a little overpriced
