Shimla Spice, Keighley

Four of us had a really good tasty meal here with good portions. It was spoilt by the fourth main course dish being served 5 mins after the other three were served at the table.

Friendly staff, warm welcome. But best of all the food was so much better that other Indian restaurant's I've been to. Well done.

A very good indian restaurant we keep returning to. It was the buisest we have ever seen it this evening, but everything was good as normal. The only downfall about here is that, it can get noisy and very busy, and sometimes there is a over flow of customers waiting for tables, which is usually a good sign. Once you in you will enjoy whats on offer. Their lamb masala is to die for.

We visit once a month and this restaurant definatly is the best in the area, food is always so fresh, and the lads always look after us.

We have also thought that shimla spice in the best restaurant in Yorkshire. After winning the Bradford's best restaurant for 2 years, keighley's best restaurant in Keighley award, now the biggest of the food critics, food judges have awarded shimla spice as the curry king of Yorkshire, and have awarded the restaurant with, best restaurant in Yorkshire 2010/2011 award. Food here is always to dine for, its worth giving it a try.

hi regular visitor, every thing there is always at its best , and they do remember your life as my son in royal navy and they always ask after his well being and were he is they are true friends once you have been, all the best to them all, we will be going again soon. john and judith

we visit all the time, its way better than any of the local gresy cusrries in Keighley, this restaurant server healthy, fat free food, coupled with a service and atmosphere, not to be found in any other restaurant in keighley.

The below review certainly looks like as its come from a sour local restaurant trying to put the restaurant down. After 52 excerlant reviews, 1 bad reviews seems to have come from nowere. Well they always say, jealouse is a Disease. Shimla Spice is the only restaurant in Keighley That is heaving during the week, and is buzzing like a bollwood event on the weekend. Now for the below reviewer, im going to kindly as people to write what they personally think about the restaurant!

After reading all the great reviews about this place i thought me and my friends must go and try. But unfortunately myself and my friends ( a few who come from Indian backgrounds) were all disappointed. The service was awful we put on our table as if we were just another bill. The starters took 45mins to be served and the main meal was cold! i am sorry to say i will never eat here again.

enjoyed a fab drink in keighley, and finished the evening off with a exceptionally good curry provided by the keighley most popular restaurant. Seems like everyone in keighley tries to get a table at this classy restaurant, which seems to be busy ll the time, But its the food quality that really proves this restaurant popular.
