On Planning Our Honeymoon In Paris Last Week We Re

On planning our honeymoon in Paris last week we read review after review of affordable restuarants and planned our week accordingly. As good as the "usual suspects" were (I'll reveiw them again) the L'Atlas was by far a find to be enjoyed!

Attracted by the large fish selection on display on their ice-laden counter on the open terrace on a busy road we thought we'd give it a go. Having never tried oysters we chose 6 as a brave shared starter and a glass each of decent champagne. Their oyster menu offered a dozen or so oyster types and a variety of quality gradings - 000 to 5 (best to worst).

We went middle fo the road and blew E21 on some gloriously fresh bi-valves. A taste of the sea and soo fresh. Next up a bottle of white and Moules Frites times two. Ok admittedly a bit of a shell fish orgy but blimey they were good. We managed to just about see off a creme brulee and the total come to just short of 110 Euros. Blingingly good fresh food, amazing service. So goo we returned the next day for a dozen oysters EACH! Oh to be back in Paris! Will return for our anniversary next year. happy memories! Go and enjoy!
