Ambrosia Restaurant, Lesbos

Ambrosia taverna is a lovely authentic taverna located in the corner of the village square in the tranquil resort of Skala Kalloni on the island of Lesbos.You can eat here and watch the world go by. The food is very traditionally Greek we had Stuffed Tomatoes and Vine Leaves as starter a Fish kebab and Moussaka for our main course and a litre of local red wine from the barrel. We were also given a complimentary glass of ouzo and a free dessert each.It was all top notch and we though it was cheap for what we ate and drank. The service was laid back and relaxed. Ambrosia is probably one of the most popular restaurants in the resort so you will need to get there before 8 o'clock or be prepared to wait for a table.Unmissable is staying in this resort.
