Akrogialia Taverna; Skala Potamis - Thassos

Akrogialia Taverna is on the seafront in the resort of Skala Potamis on the island of Lesbos. It is a family run restaurant which take you back to the more authentic Greek Taverna wish have not given way to commercialism.It only small with about 12 tables and is really charming .There are a couple more tables inside but these are not ideal. You are treated here like an individual and not just a tourist. The food is traditionally Greek well cooked and very good value. When it gets busy which is does on some occasions there is only one cook so be prepared to wait a while for your meal. Just sit there with a glass of ouzo or wine enjoy the scenery and watching the world idle by.It is best for couples.
