Belle House, Pershore

Belle House in Pershore is great for people with coeliac disease or wheat intolerance as they take great care to make sure no cross-contamination occurs. One of the few places I feel safe to eat - so much so that vouchers to this restaurant are becoming the family's way to give me a treat.

If what you want would normally come with an added item with gluten in it they don't just leave it off but produce an inventive substitution. Loved the mini mouthful choc-ices when everyone was getting mince pies at christmas. My companions were envious.

They are very clear when menu items are not safe, with non of this 'just dont eat anything go away' attitude I have found elsewhere.

Downstairs dining can be very noisy at peak times due to acoustics when fully booked - visited today and couldn't hear my partner's conversation over the noise of other diners and an unhappy baby at nearby table. Tables are placed quite close together.

Well presented, with creative food combinations and added-interest from traiteur also available next door.

I normally frequent the sauce factory in Worcester, but was taken to the Belle House by a friend. I must admit I was impressed. The food was nearly as good as the food at the Sauce Factory and that is a complement beyond compare. Well done.

I would recommend that you go to this restaurant but get your friend to pay.

Service is excellent, staff are friendly and attentive. The food is fantasic, the menu small but brilliantly executed.

A good place for a special date.

only a matter of time before it gets a michelin star - then no doubt more expensive & more difficult to book ! we are regular diners , taking business connections , family & friends . They can always please a difficult executive - or my mother ! Remarkable.
