It's All About Me, Ironbridge

Three of us stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The sun terrace was gorgeous, and it was a warm autumn day. Two of us ordered steak sandwiches, the third a cheese and bacon sandwich. Not exactly difficult items to cook.

The steak sandwiches were loaded with largely uncooked fat. It was impossible to bite into the sandwiches, and there's nothing (at least to me) more unappetising than large amounts of uncooked fat in your sandwich. The bacon in my wife's cheese and bacon sandwich wasn't even cooked completely.

We pointed this out to the waitress, and she fetched a gentleman we assumed to be the manager. He explained that the meals could be re-cooked, but we'd have to go into the queue in the kitchen behind the other diners. He also explained that "steaks have fat." (Thank you for that. I happen to raise Kobe beef, and have had beef cattle for going on 15 years.)

We decided to pay for our drinks and leave.
