Glass Tandoor, Hereford

I wanted to find a nice place to eat near the city centre,the Glass tandoor was recommended by a friend so we decided to "Give it a whirl" i wanted a venue for my up & coming Birthday(Nothing worse than a horrid place or food to ruin your night so i decided a pre-visit was in order.

I ordered a chicken chat starter & poppodoms with the trimmings,

A Chicken bhuna & mushroom rice,peshwari nan, it was delicious!!! & a decent size portion.

I,m so glad i did too, i loved it,the atmosphere,the food & the service.

The staff were so polite & helpful,the chefs seemed to be happy at work & for me coming from a background of hospitality myself(& a awkward customer too!)it far exceeded my expectations!!

I will be looking forward to spending part of my birthday at the Glass Tandoor, Thanks guys!!

My whole experience of Glass Tandoor was brillant i couldn't have asked for better service, the staff were all nicely presented, very friendly and able to help recommend me a lovely dish!

The food was true tradistional was full of rich flavours and aromas,

We've just had a takeout, it came in two halves 15 mins apart, they forgot the rice and puri. The person who took the initial order didn't really know what she was doing and the food, was boring and bland. Sorry, we won't be using this place again.

The decors very contempary, the service very friendly, the food superb, the best outside of the Indian subcontinent. Well worth driving half an hour to get to, rather than a plane journey to Deulgram.

Great food, well priced, quick service. I highly recommend it.

We think its fab, Why go elsewhere for their curry night when you can go a few yards down the road and sample the real thing cooked in a glass walled kitchen.

It's hard to beat!

The Glass Tandoor restaurant in Hereford is an upstairs restaurant with a glass walled kitchen, so it is visible to all.

The waitress was friendly. However, the food was soggy and tasteless. Also, the restaurant could do with being redecorated.
