I Visit The Woodhouse Inn On A Regular Basis, And
I visit the Woodhouse Inn on a regular basis, and I can say that it is a wonderful place to eat, or spend at night in.
Sorry but you sound like you own this place and are not a punter. I'm always suspicious of any review that comes in at a "10" rating unless they are at least recognised / experienced reviewers.
Booked Table For 2:00pm For 6 People Arrived At 1:
Booked table for 2:00pm for 6 people arrived at 1:50pm finally called in at 2:30pm and I mean called.
Sat down waited 15 minutes for waitress so as it was a carvery we decided to go to the counter wish we hadn't, what food was left was cold and only enough for 4, after a couple of mouth fulls could not take anymore so called over the manageress complained about service we had received so she offered 10% discount i replied we were not prepared to pay for something which wasn't edible so she offered 20% discount and a free coke for everyone.
We said that we were not happy with this so she replied either pay or leave the premises so we decided to leave but when attempting to leave the Bar Man tried to stop us and swearing in front of 3 women and 2 young children.
I called the Police who after arriving informed me it was a civil matter and I would have to pay half much to my annoyance.
I would advise all potential customers of The Woodhouse Inn, Don't!
Umm they weren't running late, they arrived 10 mins early?!!?
I found this review helpful because... I haven't been to the Woodhouse Inn, and I am now unlikely to. Sounds awful. Although you maybe should have phoned to say that you were running late.
