Wedding Day Disappearing Items
WEDDING DAY DISAPPEARING ITEMS
We got married here on 24 july 2010 and held the whole day here, from civil cermony to evening party. A greta start to the day and was looking forward to a happy ending to a perfect day, Unfortunatley this did NOT happen, Wedding guests saw several members of the glamorgan arms staff rumiging through our wedding cards and to our surprise alot of them went missing, When confronted the following day about this they just kept lying and changing their stories and cant even be bothered to help resolve this issue, Since this has happend we have heard numerous stories of things disappearing from this venue, They advertise that the premesis and all the rooms used by the paying public are under 24hour CCTv, Again this is not true as when we asked the owner of the premises to look at the CCTV she advised it doesnt work and is not recording, after all the meetings we had to plan our BIG day she assured us that all cameras worked and were on continuous record! As they are totally not bothered we have called in the police to deal with the matter. DO NOT GO TO THIS VENUE- STAY wELL CLEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went Here For Mother's Day, Had To Stand Around Wa
Went here for mother's day, had to stand around waiting for 20 mins since although we had booked a table for 5 they had only set it up for 4 and apparently it takes 30 mins to find a chair and cutlery. Had to go find staff to take our order, then had to wait. The food was appalling I had the minestrone soup which had a layer of grease on top and tasted like dishwater (the bread was soggy and had been defrosted in the microwave; the rest of my party had the fish cakes and chicken pate; the fish cakes had very little fish in them and were obviously frozen, the pate was bought in and covered in what apparently was a sauce but was just oil and lemon juice. My main arrived 30 mins before the others and was spinach and ricotta tortellini in a tomato sauce, well this was worse than the stuff you get in cans from a supermarket at least that has some flavour, the pasta was cold and rubbery and the tomato sauce was almost nonexistant and bland. We walked out before the others mains came as service was appalling with complaints not being taken seriously. Others were walking out as well due to the waits and low quality, I hope this place seriously reconsiders its cooking, menu and service or it wont last until next mothers day!

Glamorgan Arms Tribute Night 24th May Queen W
Glamorgan Arms tribute night 24th may queen
what a terrible night, £11 entrance with £6.95 extra for a small plate of curry and chips, the band were dressed scruffy, with cheap wigs and a singer who sounded nothing like the great freddie mercury, we were expecting a top class band, nothing like it ,
I Booked My Wedding At The Glamorgan Arms For Dece
I booked my wedding at the Glamorgan Arms for December this year and during the build up to my wedding I feel I was treated appallingly. The staff did not seem to care about me or my partner. We booked the Glamorgan Arms as we were local people and they offered what we thought was an excellent package. Once the non-refundable 500 pound deposit was paid, the package was withdrawn which was initially offered to us and they would not refund our deposit when we realised they would not provide what they promised. We are now having our wedding at the lovely and professional Towers Hotel, Swansea. I would strongly not recommend the Glamorgan Arms. We have lost almost 1000 pounds. Very upsetting.

The Glamorgan Arms In Swansea Has An Excellent Men
The Glamorgan Arms in Swansea has an excellent menu of mainly Italian dishes, but using the best of local produce. The steaks are from Welsh Black Beef and are superb.
The Tuscan Lamb (My favorite) is delicious, and again uses Welsh Lamb. It can get busy here so you need to book. A meal for 4 adults usually costs around £140 with drinks. They also do a lunchtime menu, but I have not tried that.
