Been a few times and would go back. Ample parking, nice setting in an old Mansion house, thoughtfully laid out, with seperate bar and waiting area. Nice atmosphere, charming attentive staff and nice Thai/Indian food. It's well.....nice. But then, nothing jumps out at you and grabs your taste buds and says...fantastic. Maybe its just me, but with such a great setting and award winning chefs I was expecting something extra/special/different. But I'll go back, cos I know I'll at least have a nice time.

I found the food at Spice Lodge to be really average and I think there are many better Indian restaurants in Cheltenham. Never again.

Should you prefer Thai or De Jour (fusion) food, then you will be catered for at Spice Lodge.
The cloakrooms are akin to those in a five star hotel.
The owner makes all guests feel at home, as he greets you personally.
Nominated for the National restaurant of the year awards being televised on October 2007, Spice Lodge have a very good chance of winning, and they are in the final few, having competed with thousands of restaurants across the country.
I love the restaurant. I recommended it to Slimming World, where each month about 30 of us go for a meal.
Take away and parties are catered for, and they also do wedding receptions.
