The Meadery Is A Medievel Themed Restaurant With O

The Meadery is a medievel themed restaurant with over 30 Tables. A limited main course menu offers mainly fried food with salad and/or chips. Good starter and dessert menu. Most times staff are very helpful and food is served in less than 10 minutes. The quality of the fish (Mackerel) can vary depending on whether it has been frozen (not good) or not (better). The quality of chips can also vary, but they are never bad. There is a good drinks menu and the mead is very good. For some reason the mead served in the restuarant tastes better than mead bought in bottles. However in the early evening it can get loud. Seems to be best visited before 6.30 in summer otherwise you may have a long wait for a table (1 hour).
