Lillo's, Winchester

Lillo's restaurant in Winchester has a good atmosphere, offering excellent service and true Italian food.

We took friends to Lillo's, thinking it will be as great it used to be. Firstly a rude arrogant Italian waiter with a bad attitude! More than 50% of the dishes unavailable - and that on a Saturday night. I know...we should have left at that point! What we did get to eat (about our 3rd choices due to 'out of stock') were so bland I had to cover it in salt and pepper to have some taste. In most other places they will be so apologetic if one dish is unavailable, not a single apology or even free coffee from these people. Very expensive for such rubbish food and service, and then the waiter never brought the £16 change - we had to ask for it! (After we left an undeserved tip on the table!). All I can say, if you still go there after reading this.......waste of time and money!
