The Ostrich, Slough

We ate at The Ostrich tonight and found the experience truly awful. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order, 30 minutes for our drinks - which only arrived after we went and asked for them. The food was dreadful - a starter of squid was chewier than a bicycle tyre. The ostrich main was tough, the wild boar inedible - tough and nasty tasting. Service appeared to be - slow, unapologetic and unconcerned. I was asked how the food was and I told them - they simply nodded and walked off. Would not recommend.
