Horrendous Customer Care!
Party of 10 arrived to be told we could only order off special menu not main menu. After some discussion we were advised we would be allowed 1 steak from the main menu!!!!! No offer of drinks being topped up or asked if we wanted wine! Starters were brought out then very hurriedly taken away to make way for the main courses. Desserts were given but no offer of tea/coffee as stated in menu.
When I emailed to complain I recieved an extremely arrogant reply from someone within the establishment saying he stood by his staff and that we were the arrogant ones! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! Avoid at all costs unless u want to be served by staff who roll their eyes and an extremely arrogant mr brown!

Invisable Customers
after being seated it was 15 mins later we were asked for drinks order, we asked for menus but were told there were none left as they had a rather large party in and they had the menus!! after another long long wait and a waitress arrived to take our order, we had noticed the tables around us (who arrived later than us were all servide and eating their starter courses ,the girl asked if we were ready to order but we had not seen a menu another long wait and hunger pangs we finally got our starters , main course ribeye steak was so thin it looked as thick as ham rant over would only recommend this place to some one I dislike and ask them to wear something bright so they are not invisable to the staff oh and bring your own menu

Mcchristies Well Itself Has A Friendly Atmosphere
McChristies Well itself has a friendly atmosphere as you walk into it. The staff are good and very attentive. Good Service all round
I found this review not helpful because...There was no detail. Do they only do steak pie or do they have other dishes too.

After A Recommendation We Visited The Restaurant T
After a recommendation we visited the restaurant today and managed to feed the whole family for less than £30! The staff were friendly and welcoming, but they are a bit slow, however this will change with a wee bit more experience. The food is OUTSTANDING so its well worth a visit.

Our Latest Visit To Mcchristies Well Is Ayrshire W
Our latest visit to McChristies Well is Ayrshire was very good, apart from it being very warm and uncomfortable. I would suggest that they get some form of air conditioning installed soon.
Our meal was very good and well presented. We never had long to wait for our meals. The service was excellent. Much improved from the last time we visited.

I went to McChristies Well in Ayrshire the same week, and they had advertised chocolate pudding with coconut ice, but unfortunately they had forgotten the ice cream - whoops.

At McChristies Well, the food is wonderful and you get excellent service. Fantastic home made sweets ~ sticky toffee pudding was fantastic, even after the other splendid first two courses. When word spreads it will be difficult to book!

The New Chef At Mcchristies Well Restaurant Has Ma
The new chef at McChristies Well restaurant has made a great difference. We think the food is much better now. They have real chips now, and I can recommend the steak pie, it is delicious.
It is still rather expensive, compared to other places in the area, and there is still not enough choice on the menu, but we now like the place and the food, so we will be dining there more often in the future. More people seem to eat there now, so that must mean something, but it is still not very busy though.

The Surroundings Looked Lovely, But It Was Very Wa
The surroundings looked lovely, but it was very warm and uncomfortable, especially as we were seated next to a radiator. The food was not too bad but the chips were not to my liking. £2.25p for eight chunky undercooked chips that I didn't even order. The new chef hopefully will change the menu. When it first opened the menu was good with lots to choose from, but a lot of things were taken off since our first visit. No specials were on the board as stated on the menu.
