Let's Eat, Perth

I went to the old Fishy Affair over the weekend. It's now called Fish

Monger Seafood Restaurant and is next to the new piazza with the big screen

in Northbridge. There's heaps of oysters on the menu - I think 8 different

types. I tried a couple of different types because you can order them

individually and they were beautiful and fresh and had the normal toppings

plus some more interesting ones to choose from. My wife had the chowder for

her entree and said it was delicious. An interesting dish I wouldn't have

expected was the Paella. You can order it for one or two. My wife and I

ordered it for two and it was fantastic and did have lots of seafood in it.

All in all we had a really nice evening, great food, great wine and the

service was really good too.

The new owners have done a really good job in revamping the restaurant. We

sat inside but I think next time we'll sit in the courtyard as it looked

really nice.

I must surely share the good time, I had at Fish Monger Seafood Restaurant in Northbridge. Blue Swimmer Crab Spring Rolls was waiting on the

menu as an entree. The spring rolls were full of flavour and the homemade chilli jam it came with was delicious. The taste was so good that it created a feel to try all the items on the menu. I enjoyed the grilled snapper for my main course which came with chips and salad. My friend tried calamari for her entree and the surf and turf for their main - I tried them and they were also really nice. I would not be doing justice if I do not mention a word about the service. It was great and made me feel at home. I would definitely suggest it to others.

Last night I dined at Fish Monger Seafood Restaurant in Northbridge which is the old Fishy Affair and had a great time. I had the sizzling garlic prawns to start with and they're on par with the Witchs Cauldron, to die for! My partner had the chilli mussles which he really enjoyed. Choosing the main course was tricky because all of the dishes sound good but we ended up choosing the seafood platter which we shared. The seafood platter didn't disappoint. Pretty full already we just ordered one dessert, the Chocolate Fondant and I'm glad we did as it's one of the best desserts I've ever tasted cooked perfectly and with a side of jaffa tasting ice cream. If you're thinking about going or have been when it was called Fishy Affair definitely visit this restaurant.

My husband and I had the most wonderful meal on Saturday night at Let's Eat in Perth. This our first time here and it most definately won't be our last. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely and relaxed, with pre-dinner drinks & olives served by the open-fire as we mulled over the menu. We both chose the lamb which was cooked to perfection, my fruit crumble and custard was to die-for. The waiting staff were all fantastic and attentive. Go and try it for yourself, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
