Duddingston Arms, Newton, Nr South Queensferry

We found this small family run pub on the road from South Queensferry to Linlithgow during the October school holidays and have been back several times. The food offer is great with everything from usual fish and chips to curries and the best steak pie I have tasted for a long time. The other menu item worth a mention is the liver and onions. The portions are large and the wine list is great with bottles from around £6 to £20. This is a proper real pub and well worth a visit. It manages to blend a local pub with a good place to eat and we could take our dog. How good is that!
