Positives: Delicious, Creative And Well Thought Ou
Positives: Delicious, creative and well thought out food which is beautifully presented. Relaxed dining environment. Attentive, friendly and helpful waiting staff.
Negatives: Absolutely tiny portions!!! I cannot stress how small the main courses were. Food was beautiful, but the portion sizes have left a feeling of dissatisfaction on what could otherwise have been a wonderful new find of a local restaurant.

An Excellent Restaurant And One Of Our Favourites.
An excellent restaurant and one of our favourites. Superb, imaginative and well presented dishes. Certainly not for those who like to see a mound of food on the plate, this is more about flavour, texture and an overall experience. Can never fault the service, a good wine selection and in terms of consistency this place beats any i have been to for getting everything right every time. Well worth a visit, and they do 3 courses before 7pm for £20 which is a bargain for this quality.

Recommended By Friends. Managed To Get An Early Sa
Recommended by friends. Managed to get an early Saturday evening slot from a morning booking. Atmosphere pleasant and staff attentive but not intrusive. Black pudding canapes not to everyone's taste, but food overall superb. Good quality wines by the glass. Highlights - Venison, Lamb, Panna Cotta and the best cheeseboard I've come across(10 -all British - to choose from - have 3,5,or all 10 - I'd recommend the mid option for a real cheesy!). Not cheap, but it's worth paying for this quality. VERY highly recommended.

There Isn't An Occassion I Wouldn't Want To Celebr
There isn't an occassion I wouldn't want to celebrate at the Red Cat. The food is amazing, the portions are average sized and not over facing meaning I can easily manage three courses. The canapes are beautiful and always surprising, once getting a shot of cream of Jeruselum artichoke soup and another smoked salmon with caviar. I have twice had the venison which was delious and cooked to perfection.
We've now visited The Red Cat several times and it is by far the best restaurant I have been to. I recently took my parents, and my Dad who is a man of little words thought is was 'excellent!'
