A nice place run by a family, love the food and drinks, a great place to be. recommended to anyone.

Friendly atmosphere and wonderful landlord who had us laughing with his tales of his time in The Navy and the famous people he had met...even Prince Charles has been in for a pint prior to the local hunt!!Food excellent and reasonably priced...Nice Olde Worlde pub which we will recommend to friends and will be visiting next time in the area.

absolutely excellent at cardens arms. sea food risotto "out of this world". Puddings

served with whole jugs full of custard on the side. had the 2 course for £10 menu. came back on the second night to eat again!!

We arrived at 6.30 on a Saturday evening; 2 adults and one toddler. We were welcomed politely, and the staff at the Carden Arms in Tilston provided pens and paper to amuse my child, so we could eat in relative peace!

For starter, I had smoked halibut, and trout fillets with cucumber and potato salad. This came quickly, and it was exceptionally tasty. For main, I had sea bass with a soy and chilli dressing. This also came quickly. The fish melted in my mouth, and the sauce was on the side, so it did not drown out the taste of the fish, and it was delicious. The vegetarian who accompanied me was pleasantly surprised at the options on the menu and specials board, and was delighted with her choice.

Overall, the food was fantastic, and the staff were all pleasant and professional.
