A Traditional Sunday Lunch Is A Must When In Londo
A traditional Sunday lunch is a must when in London and my boyfriend and I had the most amazing meal on Silver Fleet - Woods River Cruises on the Thames last week. The Aberdeen Angus Scottish beef with Yorkshire Pudding and Horseradish beef gravy was to die for and it was really nice to have some orginal options for a starter like the 'Wild Mushroom & Leek Risotto finished wiht cream and Mature Black Wax Cheddar'. The boat leaves the Savoy Pier (nearest tube is Embankment) at 1pm and gets back at 3.30pm so this really is more than just a lunch... it's a real experience! It was great to have a chance to really take in the sights of London and when we boarded we were given a glass of sparkling wine, this combined with the fantastic pianist in the corner made us feel like we were royality! We both thought that it was excellent value and highly recommend it!
