Urban Diner, Richmond

It is a good place for dinner. It is just near my house and I went to there several times with my friends. We all like it and think it is a good place.

I regularly eat dinner at this restaurant with my friends. The food is okay but the service is very good and its very close to where I live. Some days are better than others.. however, the atmosphere and the people you are surrounded by are very nice and welcoming.

I’m a vegetarian and found that the menu did not have that much choice of offer for me. I ended up ordering the mac n cheese, and the jalapenos. I have to say, I was appalled by the quality of the food. Firstly the jalapenos were not jalapenos, I eat jalapenos on a regular basis, and these were just over grown chillies, or long peppers. There was no spice involved at all. For an American diner I would have expected to have decent mac n cheese, but what I got was something that was very dry and lacked any taste at all. I’m not sure what went wrong that evening, but even my colleagues weren’t impressed with their ribs and others meals.
