Hilden Brewery & Tap Room Restaurant, Lisburn

One of the worst meals I have ever eaten out!The place looked lovely and quaint, but the food was awful!!this is the sister restaurant of Molly's yard, Belfast, which is absolutely gorgeous, so we expected high things from it.My starter of of goat's cheese crostini, consisted of soggy, unheated bread in the middle, with burnt outer crust, and a sweet chilli sauce on the side, which quite obviously came from a bottle of pre made sauce.My main course of ravoli, was so bad, that the 1st bite i took, i had to spit out into a napkin - it was sooo thick, rubbery, chewy,and must have been cooked for hours - the cheese in the middle was soo bad that it tasted like it was curdled - no sauce with it, no oil - just dry and awful!! I returned it, and got a risotto instead, which had mushy rice - no bite to it at all!my husband and i had to eat at separate times - they also left my side order sitting out until my 2nd attempt at a main course came out, and didnt even offer to keep it warm, let alone provide me with a fresh one!they looked at us like we had two heads when we said we were not happy to pay for my main course, and disagreed with me that there was nothing wrong with my main courses - they were appalling, and inedible!will NEVER go back or reccomend it to anyone!
