Certainly, one of the best coffee shops in Knysna.
They do have a lot of regulars , and the staff give personal attention to their customers.
Lots of different meals , fresh squeezed fruits,nice ambiance music, classy french design.
The service is very professional,as the staff is trained with the french way of hospitality.
I would definitely recommend this place to any one who likes quality!

L'Opera Coffee Shop - I was looking forward to something new but alas... first I waited an HOUR for my so called mince pancake, just for it to be served seemingly raw. The french lady simply corrected me and said this is the french way and then left without apologising or taking the plate. As I tried to leave, another lady insisted that I pay!
L'Opera Coffee shop is well known in Knysna, and we really appreciate the quality of the food, and the very good service we always have!We go there very often and enjoy the pancakes, as well as the french pie Tarte Tatin; they also have some salads, chicken curry, and delicious ice creams.The staff are very friendly, and we always meet many regulars.It's for us one of the best coffee shops in the area!
I'm a regular at L'Opera and the service is one of the best in town, the food quality is incredible, may be you were unlucky with this pancake, I think you should give another chance to those people.
