Visited The Boat Inn On The 27/07/08 For Sunday Lu
Visited the boat inn on the 27/07/08 for sunday lunch in the 1st floor restaurant over looking the grand union canal. We were welcomed by very friendly staff and impressed with the number of vegetarian options, not just the usual pie or lasagne. Food was delicious and freshly prepared, our companion loved the Sunday roast. Definitely will be going back. Waiting time was little longer than some pubs but this is because its fresh food and not the usual chain microwave so called food.

The Boat Inn, Stoke Bruerne - We had broken our journey on the M1 for a midweek lunchtime snack. The pub wasn't crowded yet we had to wait for 40 minutes for two sandwiches (made with too much margarine). Everyone seemed to be complaining about the length of time of service.
